MF / SOUNDGRAPH / LIVE SUPPORT

Live help. Free software.

SoundGraph and its open hardware resources stay free and open source. What you can buy here is direct, live help with setup, compilation, flashing, configuration, troubleshooting, and use.

Buying support is optional. It does not unlock a private edition of SoundGraph or remove features from the public software.

Axoloti Core Development Kit + 8 Hours of Live Group Support

Get an Axoloti Core development kit plus eight hours of live, small-group help with Axoloti Core and SoundGraph. The pilot is limited to the twenty working units currently available and divided into two guided cohorts of no more than ten people each.

Across four two-hour sessions, we will work through initial setup, the development toolchain, compiling and flashing firmware, loading a first SoundGraph project, diagnosing problems, and adapting the workflow to different computers, screens, and regions.

The first five places cost $199. The next five cost $225. The final ten cost $249. No additional production run is promised.

  • Eight hours of scheduled, live small-group support
  • Four guided two-hour sessions
  • A cohort of no more than ten participants
  • Development-environment and toolchain setup
  • Firmware compilation and flashing assistance
  • SoundGraph setup and project-loading assistance
  • Help diagnosing connection, driver, display-resolution, and regional-setting problems
  • Practical guidance for testing changes and recovering from a failed build or flash

Good fit for

  • Musicians who want to work with embedded audio without solving every setup problem alone
  • Developers evaluating SoundGraph on dedicated hardware
  • Educators, artists, and builders who want guided project bring-up
  • Anyone with a specific Axoloti Core or SoundGraph project to work through

Before the first session

You will need a computer capable of running the required development tools, a reliable internet connection, and any cables or peripherals identified in the kit documentation.

Remote access is optional and must be approved by you during the session. Group sessions may discuss problems visible on your screen, but you control what you share.

Book an hour with the people who build it.

Every session is live, remote, and scheduled. You bring the board, the machine, or the problem. You leave with progress, a diagnosis, documented next steps, or a clear explanation of what is blocking.

Bring SoundGraph to an ESP32-S3 project

Bring your ESP32-S3 board, project, and questions. We will work with you live to set up the toolchain, configure the target, compile SoundGraph firmware, flash the board, inspect logs, and troubleshoot the path from a SoundGraph project to working embedded audio.

Support is tailored to the actual board, operating system, audio hardware, and project you are using. Compatibility is assessed against the exact hardware and firmware revision you provide.

Support can cover
  • ESP32-S3 development-environment setup
  • Board and target configuration
  • SoundGraph firmware compilation
  • Flashing and serial-log inspection
  • USB, driver, and device-detection problems
  • Audio input/output configuration
  • Memory, build, and runtime troubleshooting
  • Display-resolution and regional-setting issues affecting the tools
You provide
  • The ESP32-S3 board and required peripherals
  • The exact board model and hardware revision
  • A computer with permission to install the required tools
  • Any programmer, debugger, cable, or adapter required by the board

Work through SoundGraph on ESP32-P4 hardware

Get direct help setting up, compiling, flashing, and troubleshooting SoundGraph for an ESP32-P4-based project. We will work against your specific development board, operating system, firmware revision, and audio configuration rather than sending you through a generic checklist.

This service is suitable for early bring-up, toolchain problems, build failures, device communication, log inspection, or a focused attempt to determine whether a particular configuration is viable.

Support can cover
  • ESP32-P4 development-environment setup
  • Board and target configuration
  • SoundGraph firmware compilation
  • Flashing and device-log inspection
  • Programmer, USB, and device-detection troubleshooting
  • Audio and peripheral configuration
  • Build, memory, and runtime diagnosis
  • Recording reproducible hardware- or region-specific problems for the public project
You provide
  • The ESP32-P4 board and required peripherals
  • The exact board model and hardware revision
  • A computer with permission to install the required tools
  • Any programmer, debugger, cable, or adapter required by the board

Bring the graph, the machine, or just the problem

Book a live working session for SoundGraph questions that are not tied to a specific supported development board. We can help install the tools, understand a graph, trace a signal path, diagnose a project, prepare a useful bug report, or plan how to move a SoundGraph project into a new environment.

The goal is practical progress during the session and a clear next step when the session ends.

Support can cover
  • SoundGraph installation and first-run setup
  • Project and graph structure
  • Node, routing, control, and audio-signal questions
  • Loading, testing, and diagnosing projects
  • Host, plugin, browser, or embedded-workflow questions
  • Display scaling, screen resolution, keyboard layout, locale, and regional differences
  • Reproducing unexpected behavior and preparing actionable issue reports
  • Choosing an appropriate hardware-support service
Good fit for
  • First-time SoundGraph users
  • Musicians building a specific patch
  • Developers investigating an integration
  • Users who have found behavior that differs across machines or regions

Get firmware from source to target

Bring the firmware source and the exact microprocessor or microcontroller you want to run it on. We will work with you to install the toolchain, resolve dependencies, configure the target, compile the firmware, connect the required programmer or debugger, flash the device, and inspect the first available output or logs.

This is hands-on compilation and flashing support. It does not promise a complete port or redesign when firmware is fundamentally incompatible with the selected architecture or hardware.

Support can cover
  • Toolchain and dependency installation
  • Build-system and target configuration
  • Compiler and linker errors
  • Architecture, memory, and feature compatibility checks
  • Programmer, debugger, bootloader, and USB setup
  • Firmware flashing and verification
  • Serial output and first-boot diagnosis
  • A written record of the working commands or the blocking incompatibility
You provide
  • The firmware source and its license information
  • The exact processor, board, and hardware revision
  • Any existing build instructions and configuration files
  • The required hardware, cables, programmer, or debugger
  • Authorization to work with the firmware and device

What live support means.

Live support is collaborative technical work performed during scheduled remote sessions. Product listings identify whether a session is private or shared with a small cohort. Customers should leave each session with practical progress, a diagnosis, documented next steps, or a clear explanation of the blocking issue.

Support conversations may also reveal screen-resolution, accessibility, operating-system, hardware-revision, language, keyboard-layout, locale, or regional problems. With the customer's permission, reproducible technical findings may be converted into anonymized bug reports or public documentation. Personal information, private project files, and session recordings are not published without explicit permission.

Open-source availability

The public software and open hardware materials are available independently of these support products. Payment purchases scheduled time, attention, and participation in the applicable support program. The Axoloti Core pilot includes one physical development kit at no additional charge. Payment does not purchase a software license that would otherwise be withheld.

Scope boundaries

  • Support does not include unauthorized access to devices, accounts, firmware, or source code.
  • Support does not include circumventing device security, license restrictions, or access controls.
  • Custom hardware repair, custom board design, and full firmware ports require a separate written scope unless explicitly included in the product.
  • No particular creative, performance, latency, or commercial result is guaranteed unless stated in writing.

All prices in USD. Payments are processed by Stripe; Mutant Factory never sees your card details.
