Raves of Mud
A 3D and 2.5D augmentation layer for Caves of Qud.
Remembered neighboring zones, Qud-authored light and sight, physical walls, weather, and a much more complete mouse-driven interface now make the Holodeck feel like a place.
MF / FREE + OPEN SOURCE
Mutant Factory builds free, open-source game transformations and creative tools. Meet Raves of Mud, SoundGraph, and Get in Loser.
Raves of Mud / SoundGraph / Get in Loser — open, inspectable, and still moving.
Factory floor / Three active projects
Three very different projects, built on the same promise: open source, portable data, and enough visible machinery to make them your own.

A 3D and 2.5D augmentation layer for Caves of Qud.
Remembered neighboring zones, Qud-authored light and sight, physical walls, weather, and a much more complete mouse-driven interface now make the Holodeck feel like a place.
One open visual sound graph that can run in a browser, on desktop, inside Godot, and on embedded hardware.
The portable graph now spans 44 node types and 280 load-verified examples, while SoundGraph can operate as both an audio plugin and a host for third-party plugins.
03 A private, browser-based image editor where pixels, voxels, and sound share one increasingly strange workspace.
Pixel editing, a 16×16×24 voxel mode, MagicaVoxel import and export, better background removal, and embedded SoundGraph instruments now live together in the browser.

How we build
Build a SoundGraph patch once, then run it on the web, Windows, macOS, Linux, or hardware you can carry.
See SoundGraph travelGet in Loser keeps the editor open source and your work local, so you can understand the tool, adapt it, and stay in control of what you create.
Open Get in LoserRaves of Mud transforms the Caves of Qud you already own without bundling or replacing the original game.
